How do I pick a lock?

How do I learn to pick a lock? not just a simple small ones that can be opened with a bend paperclip. Something like a door or a master lock or a file cabinet? (something heavy).

Where do I get tools or learn to do this?
No, I am not trying to steal anything, just curious…

I found a tape recorder containing tape recorded conversations of me in my coworkers desk. What do I do?

I was looking for a piece of equipment in a coworker’s file cabinet when I came across a small tape recorder. I listened to just a few seconds and found out he has secretly been taping my conversations in the office we share. Do I go straight to HR or will I get in trouble for finding then listening to the recording?

Which would you say works better for organizing school stuff?

I’m going to be a sophomore next year, and I want to be more organized. I already have a small file cabinet under my desk that I’m going to use. I can’t decide if I want to have a small binder for every single class or two bigger binders and put three classes in one and two in the other. If I do single binders, I won’t get notebooks and use looseleaf paper to take notes and put dividers for notes, homework, etc., and if I do two binders I’ll use notebooks and dividers for each subject. Which would work better?

Where can I find a file cabinet with…?

I’m looking for a file cabinet to fit under my desk. I’m having a really hard time finding one that is shorter than 22 inches. I would love to have one big drawer for hanging files (letter) and then one or two smaller drawers. Any ideas?

Who has the best system for keeping their mail organized?

I have problems keeping my mail organized. We get so much! As I am sure everyone does. We have credit card bills, medical bills, house bills, car payments, insurance payments, junk mail, coupons etc etc…
I can’t seem to keep it organized. I have a small file cabinet for things. But, I am just wondering if anyone has a great system for organizing the mail to keep it from piling up on the countertops. Please share. Thanks.

How can I open a locked metal file cabinet for which I don't have a key?

There’s a small, three drawer file metal file cabinet here at work and we don’t have the key for it. Somehow, the bottom drawer opens, but the top two drawers are locked. It’s a new office and we never got the key for this particular cabinet… we’re assuming it’s long gone at this point.

We’ve been trying to pick the lock open with a paperclip but it hasn’t worked.

Is there any other way, besides calling a locksmith, to get the file cabinet unlocked so we can use it?

Thanks for your time! :)

I have an old safe in an office cabinet marked "cole steel manuf." I want to change the combination – How?

This is a combination file cabinet and small safe and it appears to have some sort of adjustment hole in the back of the safe door. Any help would be appreciated.

Has anyone heard of a sliding tray (maybe plastic?) that fits inside a standard file cabinet drawer?

I worked at a place where the top drawer of the file cabinet had a small sliding tray that hung on the rails for hanging files. I could slide it back and reach to the bottom of the drawer. It held pens, paper clips, etc. It’s like a standard drawer tray you’d find at an office store but can hang and slide in a file cabinet drawer. I can’t find it anywhere at the office stores (Office Depot, Office Max and Staples) or online.
